Thermal spa Mesteri

The Spa of the village was built on the 72°C thermal water welling up from the depth of 1100-1800 m. Water of springs belongs to the group of calcium-magnesium-hydrogen-carbonate thermal waters, in Hungarian we call them “earthy-limy” waters. According to more than 30-year experiences, such waters are highly recommended for locomotor diseases, and rheuma.

Owing to its high carbon-acid concentrate, it has a favourable effect on circulation disorders as well. The remarkable value of the spa as recreation area is its flourishing flora. The spa lying on an area of 1.75 ha has a real family-like atmosphere.

Two outdoor pools await guests in the Spa of Mesteri: one with 190 sqm water surface, 90cm depth, 34–36°C transparent thermal water to regain your well-being; and an other with 338 sqm water surface, 110 cm depth, 32–34°C thermal water suitable for swimming as well. A Camp-site is to be found in the area of the spa, from where direct passage is provided for the opening hours of the spa.
